At MH Pathways, we understand that financial circumstances can vary. We are committed to making mental health care as accessible as possible and are happy to discuss tailored fee arrangements in cases of financial hardship.
At the same time, we need to ensure the sustainability of our practice. If you have any concerns about fees, please feel free to contact our team to discuss available options.
We accept private patients, Medicare rebate arrangements, NDIS participants, and DVA card holders.
For Mental Health Nurse Practitioner appointments, the first appointment is generally a full-fee consultation. During this appointment, eligibility for ongoing bulk-billing arrangements may be assessed.
Concession card holders may be eligible for bulk-billed follow-up appointments.
Appointments can be completed in person, over the phone, or via Telehealth.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances can change and you may occasionally need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Providing adequate notice allows us to offer the appointment time to another patient.
Psychiatrist Appointments

If you cancel or fail to attend your first bulk billed appointment, you will move directly to the private fee structure for future appointments.

Less than two weeks’ notice (fewer than 10 business days): 50% of the total fee will be charged.

One week or less (5 business days): 100% of the total fee will be charged.
Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work & Dietetics

Less than one week’s notice (fewer than 5 business days): 50% of the session fee will be charged.

Less than 72 hours’ notice (3 business days) or non-attendance: 100% of the session fee will be charged.
Important Information

All outstanding fees must be paid in full before future appointments can be booked.

Cancellations must be made via Halaxy or by contacting the clinic by phone or email.

Repeated non-attendance (generally three occasions) may result in temporary or permanent suspension of services, consistent with policies used by major Australian healthcare providers.

Irregular attendance may impact treatment outcomes, and therapy may need to be paused or discontinued if attendance patterns affect clinical effectiveness.
